Meet Elora!
Elora is a 5-year-old Pekingese. She currently weighs 13 lbs. She joined the rescue due to her owner no longer being able to care for her.
Elora is very social and outgoing. She loves everyone she has met. She is a super fan of treats, loves being scratched behind the ears and going on walks.
She is an independent kind of soul. She enjoys all the attention she gets but she prefers to sitting close to you vs your lap. When she wants attention, she’s like a cat and will be all in your lap but when she’s done she’s off to her spot she likes to relax at.
She enjoys playing with dog toys. She will play by herself, with her canine friends or her favorite playing with her humans. What she lacks in smartness she makes up for in cuteness and personality.
She gets along great with the other dogs she has met. In her previous home she was an only dog. She would make an excellent addition to a home with or without another dog. Her previous owners said she was good with kids.
A secure fenced yard is required. She barks but she is not what we would consider a yappy dog. She is not a high energy dog although she has bursts of energy & zoomies that could possibly be too much for some family types.
Elora is crate & leash trained. She is working on her potty training. In her previous home she slept in a crate. In her foster home she is sleeping on a bench in front of her foster parents' bed. She is not destructive if you leave her uncrated while away.
Until she’s fully potty trained it's recommended that she have some type of confinement like a crate as she’s navigating house training.
Elora is spayed, current on vaccinations, HW negative, current on heartworm preventative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250.
