Tiny Tim is here in Maine, enjoying his foster home and learning what it means to be a part of a family. He was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas when he was a puppy and had a head injury when he came into rescue. He is all healed up now but is a sensitive soul who will do best in a home with consistency and routine. He is a mixed breed boy, around a year old, and 40 lbs. His foster mom says: "“Tiny Tim is a sweet and smart pup who loves to play and be with his human. He rides like a champ in the car, lives to play fetch, and will happily occupy himself for a long spell with a good chew toy. He really enjoys playing with other respectful doggie friends and does a decent job moderating himself with smaller dogs. He’s food motivated and eager to please, so he’s making good strides learning manners and ringing a bell to go outside. He sleeps quietly in his crate at night. Like most dogs, he does best with a dependable routine.
In short, he’s waiting to be your new best friend and adventure pal, and at the end of the day, he’s always up for snuggle on the couch! Timmy is a dream dog for some lucky person or family willing to love and guide him and give him the consistency he deserves. Timmy’s zest for life makes him exuberant in everything he does, so he’s probably best suited to families with school-aged children and older. He is a little too interested in kitties so we would recommend a home without cats.”
