Virgil has shown us that he takes his meals seriously and prefers not to be bothered while eating. Giving him space during mealtime and respecting his communication will help him feel comfortable as he gets used to having consistent meals.

Virgil arrived quite thin and with sore, worn paw pads, but he's already enjoying regular meals, a safe place to rest, and the care he deserves. For now, he's sticking to soft grassy walks while his paws heal, and before long he'll be ready to explore the world with his new family by his side.
