Hi - Henry here! People say the first thing they notice about me is how handsome I am, but I think it's really my soulful eyes that set me apart. They've seen a lot and seem to tell my story without me having to bark a word. Behind those eyes is a gentle spirit and a heart that's ready to belong!

I'm an easygoing, calm kind of guy with a steady, laid-back temperament. I enjoy the simple things--soft beds, comfy couches, kind voices, and being near my people. I know how to relax and take life as it comes, which makes me a wonderful companion! Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy walks and playtime, but I am not a rowdy guy - just easy to have around!

I truly enjoy my dog friends, and having a dog buddy by my side has helped me to build trust and feel comfortable with the world. I would do best with a canine sibling who can continue to show me the ropes and remind me that people, routines, and new experiences are good things.

I'll happily play with my fur friends and get along well with everyone I meet (humans & furry buddies alike). As for cats? I politely ignore them--no fuss, no drama from me! I simply like to go along and get along....

I've had a tough beginning, and I carry a few scars from that early chapter in my life. But those days are behind me now. I've healed, grown, and learned that kindness is real. What matters most is who I am today--and who I'm still becoming! Loud noises can still startle me so a family who is understanding of that is appreciated.

I'm known as the best boy, not because I'm perfect, but because I try my hardest every day. I am crate & potty trained and the master of sleeping quietly through the night. I am not overly vocal and foster mom says that makes me a very good coworker (she works & I sleep). I'm ready for my forever family, ready to give loyalty, quiet affection, and a whole lot of love!

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.

Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.
