Remy is a beautiful 5-year-old girl weighing about 45 pounds. She has all her vet care, she's crate trained, house trained, and ready for a forever home of her own.

Remy's story began after a severe storm, when a couple found her alone in a wooded area near the river. She appeared to have been abandoned and was heartbreakingly thin when she was rescued... Despite everything she had been through, Remy never stopped wanting to love and trust people.

Once you get to know her, her sweet personality shines. Remy loves following her humans around the house, curling up on the couch, going for walks, and soaking up affection. Belly rubs, ear scratches, and cuddles are some of her favorite things.

Remy would do best as an only dog or she also gets along great with calm, compatible male dogs. What she wants most is a family to love and a safe place to call home.
