Introducing Polly Pockets!
Pockets is a 1 yr. old female mixed breed weighing 36 lbs. She is smart, eager and fun. She's such a nice girl that it's hard to believe that she was found as a stray and her owners never claimed her.
Pockets is house and crate trained. She does great on leash when hiking, but a little bouncy otherwise. Car rides seem to be new to her, but she is becoming more comfortable with each ride. She will excel with additional training as she is very treat motivated and wants to please! She recently discovered toys!
Pockets is good with adults and children of all ages, including toddlers and babies. She plays very well with other dogs. How she is with cats is unknown. Although, her Guardian believes she may do well with cats when properly introduced.
Pockets will occasionally bark at unknown sounds, otherwise she's a quiet girl. She is also deemed healthy. She has had full bloodwork performed and is on Heartworm prevention. If you're looking for a healthy, fun and smart companion, Pockets just might be the one for you!
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home.
HOW TO APPLY: From Petfinder.com The fastest way to get to the adoptable dog page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-dogs/
When you are on the UAF website Select "Adoptable Dogs" and pick the dog you are interested in. To apply to adopt, go into the dog's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started.
