Torch - Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Torch is ready to spark up his next chapter with a family of his own! This extremely handsome, smart, and affectionate guy has a heart that burns bright for his people. Whether he's eagerly waiting by the window for you to come home or curling up nearby for snuggles after a walk, Torch is happiest when he's with the ones he loves!

One of Torch's cutest quirks? Shortly after he falls asleep, he sometimes starts making the funniest little dream noises-tiny squeaks, grumbles, and sounds that are guaranteed to make you smile. It's clear this boy dreams big!

Torch is wonderfully well-behaved in the home and already has so many great skills under his collar. He's house trained, comfortable free-roaming when left alone (he'd much rather skip the crate life), adventures well in the car, and already knows some commands. He's also easygoing on leash for everyday walks, though he'd gladly turn up the heat and join you for a jog if that's your pace!

When Torch gets excited-whether it's time for a walk or guests are stopping by-he'll proudly grab one of his toys to bring over, like his own adorable way of saying, "let's play!" His playful spirit and loving personality make him an absolute joy to be around.

Torch previously lived with people of all ages and has experience around other dogs. However, he's looking for a home without cats or small animals, since squirrels and other critters can really ignite his enthusiasm when out and about. He's continuing to work on staying calm around distractions and will thrive with an adopter who can keep building his confidence and skills.

Torch is also looking for a family committed to helping him stay comfortable while managing his allergies. He's currently doing well with medication, a special diet, and support from a full-service veterinarian.
