DESCRIPTION
Meet Silas!
Silas came to us originally after being found tied outside of another local rescue. He was then adopted, but sadly returned recently when his family was moving and could not take him with. They described him as a funny and loving pup, and reported he was house and crate trained. Silas is an active boy who LOVES playing fetch with tennis balls. We believe Silas's ideal home would be one with teens and up, and no cats. Silas is open to meeting other dogs, but does appear to be somewhat dog-selective.
If you're interested in meeting Silas, he is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00-6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. If you have any questions about him, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
