DESCRIPTION

Meet Mello!

Mello is ready for a second chance - and a home that’s here to stay. He was surrendered when his previous family moved, which has made for a bit of a rocky start, but he hasn’t let that dim his spirit.

Despite the name, Mello is a big, energetic goofball who just needs a little time to settle in and feel comfortable. Once he does, his fun, silly personality really shines. He’s the kind of dog who will keep you laughing and on your toes. Mello already knows some commands and is eager to keep learning, so he’d do great in a home that’s willing to continue his training and give him some structure. He’s a smart guy, he just needs consistency and guidance to help him be his best self.

Mello has lived with another dog before and may be open to doing so again with the right match. He’s also open to meeting kids ages 8+.

If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared - bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
