Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Bella Lee is a happy, wiggly sweetheart with a constantly wagging tail and a heart full of love! Volunteers describe her as friendly, easy to handle, and so excited to get outside for walks and attention. She walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, and will happily show off her sitting skills for snacks.

Bella also appears to enjoy the company of other dogs, greeting them with loose, playful body language and relaxed sniffing during meet-and-greets. Whether she's out exploring, soaking up pets, or enjoying a tasty treat, Bella's joyful personality shines through everywhere she goes.

Volunteer notes from 5/25
Bella was tap-dancing in front of her kennel when I approached. She was easy to leash and left her kennel with minimal pulling. Once outside, she immediately sniffed & I pulled her away from the standing water to the grass.

Bella was loose and wiggly throughout our walk. Her tail was wagging constantly. When she realized I had treats, she sat or tried to sit for them. Bella took treats nicely. We walked along a run with another dog (Shadey) and Bella placed her paws on the fence and was wiggly with a wagging tail to say hello to Shadey.

We pursued a walk-along and dog meet with Shadey and Bella that was polite with butt sniffs and wagging tails from both of them. Both sniffed the grass near each other and occasionally sniffed the other pup. It was a relaxed meet with interest from both pups (see video).

Bella's gait slowed down and she was panting so I took her back inside as it was warm and humid. She was given some fresh- pet with broth which she ate quickly. No issues with kennel return and Leash removal.

Per staff 5/24/26: dog is friendly, able to leash, put in van with no resistance or aggression
