Hi, I’m Bruce!

I’m a 3-year-old guy weighing about 65 lbs., and I’ve been hanging out with my foster family for a while now. They’ve gotten to know me really well, which means they can tell you just how good of a boy I am.

I live with a whole pack of dogs here, big and small, young and older, and I get along great with all of them. I also do well with kids. I’m respectful of everyone’s space and tend to let others come to me first, but once I know you, I’m all about being your buddy.

My favorite things include playing with my dog friends, stretching out for naps in the sun or grass, and relaxing inside with my people. I love head scratches, belly rubs, and sometimes I even sleep on my back.

I’m housetrained and will let you know when I need to go out or come back in. I do well on a leash, and I’m comfortable both crated and left out, without getting into things I shouldn’t. I’ve got my manners down and really just enjoy being part of a calm, loving home.

When I first arrived, I was a little shy, but it didn’t take long for my sweet and loving personality to shine through. Now, when I see someone I love after they’ve been away, I do this adorable little choppy bark to say hello.

Loud noises like distant gunshots can make me want to head inside, but I handle it by finding a safe, quiet space.
