Meet Atlas!

With his striking blue eyes, giant puppy personality, and heart of gold, Atlas is impossible not to love.

Atlas is about 1.5 years old and has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. He came to the shelter after being hit by a truck and recently underwent hip surgery to help him heal. He is now staying in a wonderful foster home so he can get back to living his best life! Through it all, Atlas has remained incredibly sweet, resilient, and full of love. He is ready to find his forever home.

This handsome boy is one of the tallest dogs you'll ever meet, but dont let his size fool you, he is a big softie! He loves leaning against his people for affection, talking while dinner is being prepared, and making friends wherever he goes. Atlas knows some basic commands, is eager to learn more, and is very food motivated, making training both fun and rewarding.

Atlas is dog-friendly, enjoys older children, and would love a home with a secure and tall fenced in yard where he can safely stretch his long legs and continue building strength and confidence. He would do best in a home without cats or birds.

After everything hes been through, Atlas deserves a family who will show him what forever feels like. If youre looking for a loyal companion with a goofy spirit, a gentle soul, and eyes you'll never forget, Atlas may be your perfect match.
