SIR GREY
Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Monticello, Iowa
April 25th
male, medium, senior
DESCRIPTION
At 7 years old, Sir Grey has quite the story to tell. Once a scared and skittish stray, he was known for wandering the area, unsure of where he belonged. After being safely brought into our shelter, this gentle soul is now ready to find a forever home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by love.
Sir Grey may seem a bit guarded at first—but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll witness something truly special. As he begins to trust you, you can literally see his eyes soften, and his sweet personality shines through. He absolutely adores pets and attention, and he’s happiest simply being near his person, soaking up every bit of love he can get.
This curious boy loves the outdoors and takes great joy in exploring the world through his nose—sniffing adventures are his favorite! Because of this, regular outdoor time is a must for him. He does well on walks, though he can still be a little sensitive to loud noises or sudden movements.
Sir Grey gets along well with other dogs, especially with slow and thoughtful introductions. He’s also good with kids, making him a wonderful addition to many types of families. Plus, he’s both house trained and crate trained, making the transition into a new home that much smoother.
If you’re looking to add a sweet, gentle senior companion to your life, Sir Grey might just be your perfect match.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
