Bronx is a 5-year-old neutered mixed-breed boy with a handsome brown brindle and white coat and a personality that's just as wonderful as his looks. This lovable goofball is equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle expert. He loves getting out for walks, exploring the world around him, and then coming home to soak up all the affection he can get.

Bronx has lived successfully with both dogs and children and has proven himself to be a great companion. When meeting other dogs, he seems to play nicely and politely. He's not a rough-and-tumble playerhe'll enjoy some playtime, then wander off to investigate his surroundings before coming back for more fun.

He's a smart guy, too! Bronx is crate trained, housebroken, leash trained, and knows several commands, including "sit," "up," and "enough." He enjoys learning and thrives on spending time with his people.

Bronx is energetic without being overwhelming and has a sweet, affectionate side that makes him a fantastic snuggle partner. He does have seasonal allergies and sensitive ears, and while grooming isn't his favorite activity, he tolerates it like a champ.

At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals!
We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion.
