Maddie’s journey started with a challenge. As a young pup, she needed emergency surgery that left her with one kidney. But here’s the important part: it doesn’t slow her down one bit. Maddie is living a full, happy, playful life just like any other pup — and she’s absolutely thriving.

Since arriving in Canada, Maddie has blossomed into the most incredible companion. Watching her transformation has been nothing short of amazing. She is sweet, friendly, and full of life, ready to find her forever home.
Here’s what else makes Maddie so special:
-Training: 100% house-trained (go Maddie!!). She's even learning to use bells to let you know when she needs out!
-Commands: Knows “sit” and uses it like a pro, even when excited
-Energy: Playful puppy energy with the best post-walk zoomies
-Socializing: Great with dogs and very friendly with people, including kids. Not tested with cats.
-Confidence: Has come so far — no more tail tucked, now it’s wagging nonstop
-Affection: Your little shadow — she loves being close and following her humans everywhere
-Walks: LOVES exploring — every tree, bush, and rock must be sniffed

Maddie is still building her confidence with loud noises, but the progress she’s made already is incredible — she’s learning that the world is a safe and happy place, one new experience at a time.

She’s the perfect mix of playful and loving — ready to explore the world with you, then curl up on the couch after a good zoomie session.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
