Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Hilton, New York

Honey has been with North Paw since early March when we took over her care from Rochester Animal Services where she was brought after being found roaming the streets of Rochester as a tiny puppy. When we picked her up we were told she had a limp, and we found out from our vet that she had more than a limp - she had a broken leg. For the first month she was in our care she required weekly cast changes to keep up with her rapidly growing body and weekly vet appointments to make sure her bones were healing correctly. Honey is now 3.5 months old, bigger and stronger, and ready to find her forever home.

In spite of all that extra needed care and her rough start in life, Honey is what her foster lovingly describes as a rare “easy” puppy. Honey is eager to please, loves being around people, and delights in receiving affection and in giving it right back.

She’s also doing very well with house training, sleeps through the night, and is generally a wonderful and loving dog. She’s loyal, she’s loving, and she’s little! This terrier mix (at least we think she’s a terrier mix) is going to be the perfect companion dog for someone. Could that someone be you?

Honey's adoption fee is $600! This adoption fee includes: her alter, a microchip, her rabies, bordetella, and age appropriate DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.
