Mariposa means butterfly - and our Mariposa is every bit as beautiful and social as her name suggests. This large, floppy, absolutely adorable five month old puppy has one simple goal in life: to be as close to you as possible. At all times. Always.
She is still figuring out those long, glorious limbs of hers - and watching her navigate the world with pure puppy enthusiasm is one of the greatest joys at Mountain Humane right now. She has become an instant favorite among our staff and volunteers, spreading smiles everywhere she goes just by being her gloriously floppy self.
Leash training is a work in progress - but she is learning, growing, and doing it all with the sweetest, most enthusiastic spirit you have ever seen. Treats help. A lot.
Big, loving, and just beginning to discover who she is - Mariposa is looking for a patient home ready to grow alongside her. We have a feeling she is going to blossom into something truly magnificent.
