DESCRIPTION
Bubba is a sweet senior gentleman looking for a soft place to land. He was originally adopted from the shelter in 2014 but recently returned to us as a stray. Despite multiple attempts to reach his adopter, no one has come for him.
Bubba's back legs are weak, so he will need a one-story home where he can move around safely and comfortably. He may need a little assistance on slippery floors, and a support sling can help him navigate smooth surfaces when needed.
This handsome senior isn't asking for much-just a loving home, a cozy bed, good food, and someone willing to give him the care and kindness he deserves. Bubba is ready to spend his golden years surrounded by love.

In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.
Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on "Foster Questionnaire."
Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours-giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.
We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We'll see you soon at either location!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
