Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Fairfax, Virginia

Meet Todd! Todd is about 48 lbs. and a relatively reserved guy right out the gate. But we've noticed he truly comes out of his shell when he's met with some of our other shelter pups. He goes from shy and unsure to a bouncy cannonball ready to zoom back and forth with the occasional intermediate wrestling match during the zoomies. Todd definitely wants to open up and be the cuddlebug we're hoping he'll be, but he needs an adopter who understands dogs like Todd need patience and reinforcement as they adjust to their new environment. With the right person/family, we have no doubt that Todd will blossom into a sweet, loving, and cuddly fella. If you've got a resident dog at home, we strongly recommend you bring your pup in for a dog-to-dog to ensure they will be a good fit for each other due to Todd's excitable playstyle.

This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!

Then, come in during our open hours!
