DESCRIPTION

Meet Tanto!

Tanto is a friendly dog, with such an adorable personality! In our care, Tanto has shown to be a big fan of interaction and will be an amazing friend! Tanto seems to know "sit" when it comes to his knowledge of commands, he has a big brain that will help with his leash training! Tanto has a big playful streak, and he ESPECIALLY loves tennis balls and fetch! This young man is still learning the ropes of being a good canine citizen, he needs some extra training classes under his belt to graduate to an "ultimate good boy" title! Tanto has a go, go, go attitude meaning he would love to be someone's new hiking/adventure buddy! He loves to play all day but needs a little guidance with being a little too excited and sometimes displaying mouthy behavior. Tanto did very well when meeting a helper dog in our care and had a very playful interaction with the dog! It is always recommended and encouraged that any potential doggy siblings be brought in to meet our available dogs to ensure compatibility!

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
