DESCRIPTION
Miss Calypso is a 5 year old, 47 pound mixed breed female available for adoption at the Gilmer County Animal Shelter in Ellijay GA.
Don't let her serious expression fool you, Calypso is a funny little short stack who is good on a leash. She came into the shelter with her friend Odie, a large Rottweiler mix. They're a pretty cute duo. Calypso came from a home where she was house trained, and will likely get her potty skills back very quickly.
Calypso:
🐾Prefers women over men
🐾Is house trained
🐾Walks well on a leash
🐾Gets along with many, but not all, dogs
🐾Is cat friendly - she used to live with a cat
🐾Will be an excellent couch buddy, chilling and watching tv
Calypso is spayed, vaccinated, and will be micro-chipped with her adoption.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
