For a few weeks, Buddy called the city park his home... watching people come and go, hoping someone might notice him and choose him.

Now safe with us, this sweet boy is still holding onto that same hope - that his person is out there.

Buddy is around 1 year old and weighs 42 pounds, and he truly lives up to his name. He's a friend to everyone he meets - the kind of dog who greets you with a wagging tail and a heart full of love.

Despite being on his own, Buddy never lost his gentle, loving nature. He just wants to be near someone, to be part of a family, to finally belong somewhere.

He's still young, full of life, and ready to share all his love with the person who gives him a chance.
