Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

Meet Lana! Lana is a beautiful girl who loves to have fun. She is very affectionate and likes to snuggle up close to her favorite people, rolling over to ask for belly rubs. She also loves taking long walks- and if there are any puddles outside, she will make sure to splash in them to her heart's content! Despite her dark fur, she absolutely loves bathing in the sun and soaking up the warmth, especially if her favorite people are outside with her.

While here at the shelter, Lana has met other dogs in playgroup. She was briefly in a home with children ages 4-9, and did incredibly well with them, especially because they understood how to respect her space. She would follow around the family in the house frequently, and cuddle up with them in bed, enjoying their company. We know she is very fearful and difficult to treat at the vet, and will need a muzzle for both her and the vet staff's safety. She does well and enjoys playing, but is a gentle girl who prefers dogs that respect her space. If you have children and or other dogs in the home, we encourage you to bring them along to meet her in the shelter prior to adoption.
