Mumpy is an affectionate, playful pup who loves to follow her people everywhere they go. She has a silly, charming personality and brings a cheerful, lighthearted energy to any room. She is also very quiet and rarely barks, making her an easy and peaceful companion at home.
Mumpy is fully house trained with a very reliable schedule, and she has been thriving in apartment life so far. She does wonderfully with people including children over 4 and is incredibly loving and affectionate. While she has a fun medium energy play style, she stays calm most of the day while her foster’s partner works from home, content to relax or nap nearby.
She is not currently crate trained since she is not destructive, but with a bit of structure and practice she should pick it up easily. Her reactivity is very manageable. She still needs to be the only pet in the home and that includes no cats, but she can now be successfully redirected with treats during dog encounters on walks. Someone with experience in positive reinforcement training would help her continue to grow and truly shine.
Mumpy enjoys playing with her toys especially soft plushies, but she is equally happy curling up right at your side. She would do well in an apartment, though she would truly flourish in a home with more space or a yard where she can stretch her legs. And one more bonus: she walks very nicely on the leash
