DESCRIPTION
Wakko is a boisterous boy seeking an active family who will help build his confidence while meeting his youthful needs. He and his siblings were found as strays together. It's clear they haven't had much real-world experience or handling by people. That being said, they have great potential to overcome their lack of early socialization. Wakko enjoys playing with toys and going for sniff walks. This is wonderful to continuing his reward-based training as he works on learning basic manners, like keeping four-on-the-floor, and leash walking skills. When meeting new dogs, he was social and eager to greet them. He'll likely do well with another social dog that could model behaviors for him.
Wakko is a medium sized mixed breed dog, approximately 7 months old and currently weighs 41 pounds.
Wakko has received his full-service vet care, vaccines, pre-adoption behavior support, microchip and will be neutered. To meet this dog or any of our other ready-for-adoption dogs, visit Gigi's during our open adoption hours listed on www.gigis.org. ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
