Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Canal Winchester, Ohio

Heyward is a sweet boy who's had a hard start in life. He was part of a hoarding situation and rescued from a neglectful situation. Upon arriving at Gigi's and having a medical exam, it was determined that he needs a bilateral knee surgery. Gigi's will be conducting the surgery and costs of the surgery are covered. He will need physical therapy post op; dogs do much better post-surgery and with PT when they are in a home and having a loving family helping them recover. Heyward is seeking just that family; one that will give him the TLC and support he'll need.
Heyward has done fairly well walking on leash, seeks out companionship and leans in for affection. When meeting new dogs, he remained neutral and calm. He'll do best in a calmer home as he recovers and with a family that will be patient with him as he learns about living in a home and being doted on.

Heyward is a medium sized mixed breed dog, approximately 3 years young and currently weighs 30 pounds.

Heyward has received his full-service vet care, vaccines, pre-adoption behavior support, microchip and will be neutered.
