DESCRIPTION
Sweet Cleo is aged to perfection and ready to start a new chapter in her life. Don't let her age fool you, this girl is energetic and spunky! She was part of hoarding situation and lived most of her life outdoors on a chain sadly, so she is loving her new freedom and ability to run around and be indoors. She is very food motivated and is learning to take food gently from hands. Cleo will benefit from reward-based training as she learns about basic manners and leash walking skills. She is affectionate and leans in for pets after she's been able to get her ya-yas out!
Cleo will be undergoing a dental and having a number of teeth extracted, so she'll be on a soft food diet post-surgery until she's fully healed.
Cleo is a small-medium sized mixed breed dog; she does have physical and personality traits of a Beagle however without a DNA test we cannot confirm her breed(s). She is approximately 10 years young and currently weighs 30 pounds.
Cleo has received her full-service vet care, vaccines, pre-adoption behavior support, microchip and is spayed. To meet this dog or any of our other ready-for-adoption dogs, visit Gigi's during our open adoption hours listed on www.gigis.org. ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
