I love Glenda's joy! She was scared when she first came to the shelter, but she met a new friend who helped her feel safe, and now she's ready to meet even more new people. In her former home, Glenda lived her life tethered, so it's understandable that she was frightened in her new environment.

It was heartwarming watching Glenda having the time of her life. She zoomed around the play yard, sat for treats, and enjoyed pets and being loved on. She even met a new canine friend at the fence. Glenda was happy and enjoying life, and that's the way it should be. She's listed as rescue only until she meets and feels safe with more new people. With what I saw of her today, I'm hoping she'll be available for adoption soon. She's a sweet, wonderful girl!

Update: Glenda is such a good girl and is so happy when I take her out. She chased a few toys but mostly wanted to sit with me enjoying pets and treats. Glenda is still listed as rescue only. She'd been tethered all her life and was frightened when she first arrived at the shelter, but she's made great progress in trusting people and is the sweetest girl. I hope someone gives her a chance.
