Little Ozzy is a 5-year-old, 14-pound charmer with a big heart and an easygoing personality. This sweet boy is all about love, comfort, and enjoying life at a relaxed pace.
Ozzy absolutely adores people and is happiest when he’s soaking up affection. He’s a cuddly companion who will gladly curl up next to you on the couch after a long day. While he loves being close, he’s not overly clingy and can happily entertain himself nearby.
He’s a well-mannered pup who is potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and already knows basic commands like sit and recall. Ozzy is also food-motivated, which makes continued training a breeze. He enjoys soft toys but isn’t much into games like fetch—he’s more of a “relax and watch the world go by” kind of guy.
Ozzy gets along well with other dogs and cats, though he doesn’t have much interest in playing with them. He prefers calm companions and may give a little warning bark if another dog is too pushy. He could do well either as an only dog or with a laid-back canine friend.
This confident little guy would do best in a home with children 8 years and older, as he prefers a calmer environment. He can live comfortably in an apartment and doesn’t require a yard. Ozzy is not destructive, not skittish, and doesn’t have any resource guarding behaviors.
Ozzy is a velcro dog and loves to be around his humans. He may bark a bit when left alone and sometimes at night—especially if he’d rather be snuggled up with his humans instead of sleeping solo. With a little routine and reassurance, he’ll settle in just fine.
Ozzy enjoys car rides, loves his people, and is ready to be someone’s loyal little sidekick. If you’re looking for a sweet, calm, and affectionate companion to share your days with, Little Ozzy might just be your perfect match 💛

Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
