Ashley and Mary Kate are a bonded pair of sweet girls who were found as strays near Sanborn. We estimate they are around 56 years old, although its hard to know for sure. One thing we do know is that these two have been through a lot together, and they find comfort in always having each other by their side.

Both girls can be shy when meeting new people. They arent the type to immediately run up and demand attention, but if you give them time, sit with them, and let them move at their own pace, youll quickly see their wonderful personalities begin to shine.

Ashley is the more outgoing of the two and is usually the first to come over for pets and affection. Mary Kate takes a little longer to trust, but once she feels safe, she loves being close to her people. We think a calm home environment and a little patience will help her blossom even more.

These girls are happiest when theyre together, whether theyre exploring outside, relaxing near their favorite humans, or simply enjoying each others company. One thing is certainthey would much rather be out and about than spending time in a kennel.

Ashley and Kate do have some dental issues and could use some TLC in that department, as well as a good groomin but they make up for it with their gentle hearts and unwavering loyalty.
