Maltese Dogs Available for Adoption in Ramona, California

9-year-old Nano originally came to us from the San Diego Humane Society in January 2025. Soon after, he had surgery to remove both eyes, which were non-visual and very painful. He recovered in a loving foster home, and his foster family only had positive things to say:

"Nano is the absolute best, despite losing his total eyesight. He adjusted amazingly! He may need a little extra help here and there, but he is active, eats well, is potty trained, and loves snuggles. He's great with dogs, big and small, and cats. He sleeps through the night in a crate and also stays there when home alone. He is very, very easy to care for, and we could not say better things about him. Nano is an absolute doll!"

Nano was adopted two months later by a loving couple. Sadly, his dad recently passed away, and his mom, originally from Australia, is returning there to be close to her remaining family members. She describes Nano as a perfect mix of independence and affection. He is trusting and loving, and she will miss him dearly. Nano enjoys going for walks but is also happy to ride in style in his stroller like a little king!
