Isla - Maltese Dog Available for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Meet Isla, a tiny 5-pound Maltese with the biggest heart imaginable. At just 18 months old, this precious little girl has already overcome more than most dogs ever should, yet she greets the world with nothing but joy, love, and a wagging tail.

Isla is the definition of sweet and gentle. She adores children, gets along beautifully with other dogs and cats, and has the kind of quiet, charming personality that instantly melts hearts. Whether she's cuddled beside you on the couch or happily trotting along on her three little legs, Isla's cheerful spirit shines through in everything she does.

Despite losing a leg due to an untreated injury in her past, Isla hasn't let anything slow her down. She is happy, outgoing, and full of life; a true little inspiration wrapped in soft white fur.

She is potty pad trained and doing wonderfully with house training when kept on a regular routine. Isla is also currently undergoing treatment for heartworms. She has already received her ProHeart-12 injection and will need a recheck in nine months to confirm she is continuing on the road to a full recovery.

Isla is looking for a family who will cherish her for the resilient, loving, and extraordinary little companion she is. In return, she promises endless affection, quiet companionship, and a lifetime of unconditional love.



Adoption fee is: $400

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
