Lhasa Apso Dogs Available for Adoption in Lenexa, Kansas

Meet Hope, a gentle little soul-an 11-year-old Lhasa Apso with a heart full of quiet sweetness.

Hope was originally adopted by her owner a few years ago as a breeder release. She was deeply loved by her owner but unfortunately her owner passed away and now Hope awaits a new forever home. Due to her past as a dog used for breeding, she is a bit shy with people at first and needs time to feel safe, but her love for other dogs shines through right away. Hope is also friendly with cats, making her a perfect fit for a multi pet household.

She is making progress with going potty outside, though the big wide world (and even grass!) can still feel a little scary. For now, she uses potty pads indoors and is doing well with them. One thing she is never shy about? Mealtime, she has a great appetite! And bath time? Surprisingly, she enjoyed every minute of being pampered.

Being a senior sweetheart, Hope will be getting a dental procedure prior to adoption. Once she's all healed up she will be ready to find her new forever companion.

This lovely girl is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. With kindness, consistency, and maybe a canine (or feline!) friend or two, she is sure to blossom into a devoted companion.
