Kane is a happy, energetic boy who’s ready to find a home of his own! At just 1.5 years old, this Lab/Shepherd mix is full of life, love, and personality.

He’s the kind of dog who will keep you smiling — whether he’s chasing a ball, chewing on his favourite bone, or rubbing up against you like a cat for attention. Kane absolutely thrives on being around his people and is always up for fun.

Kane is also incredibly smart and eager to please. He already knows several commands including sit, lay down, wait, come, and off, and his recall is phenomenal. With consistency, he’s going to make an amazing companion.

Kane would do best with an active family who can continue building his confidence and giving him the structure he needs to succeed.

Things to consider:

* Kane may need slow, proper introductions to new people
* He can be reactive on walks when approached and will benefit from continued training
* He has done well with one dog after a proper warm-up and now loves to play
* His compatibility with cats is currently unknown
