DESCRIPTION
Hi! My name is Junior and I am looking for a forever home. When I found myself as a puppy in a scary place called a shelter, a small local rescue pulled me and placed me in foster in a Dog Prison Program known as "New Leash on Life". I kind of got looked over and spent a good deal of time there, but then when they needed to open up room for some new dogs, BCAA was asked about helping me and they said yes! Well, I'm about a year old now and the prison was the only real home I had ever known so even though I was a star student with them, it was kind of scary going into foster and meeting new people, but with a little bit of time, TLC and treats my shining personality is starting to shine through (I will sit on a dime for a treat!). I appear to be a lab mix, maybe with a little bit of hound?, but whatever I'm mixed with my foster mom says I'm super handsome, really smart, and at only a little over 38lbs a great size. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and love to play with my best friend Lainey; I've also ignored those things called cats. I've done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any of my bedding, but I would really prefer to be out and about with you. Once I learn to trust you, I'm good on leash and know lots of different commands which I will show off (especially if you have some treats).
