Meet Tyvola 🖤🐾

Tyvola is a beautiful black retriever mix, around 2 years old, who has spent the last few months being an incredible mama to her seven healthy puppies. Now that her babies are finished nursing, it’s finally Tyvola’s turn to find a forever home where she can relax, be loved, and just be someone’s dog.

This sweet girl has been an attentive and devoted mom from day one. She takes little breaks for herself but always heads right back to check on her puppies. Tyvola is definitely protective of her babies and takes her job seriously, but she has become very comfortable with her foster family and allows them to handle the puppies with ease.

Underneath her protective mama instincts is a loving, affectionate dog who is especially obsessed with her foster dad. One morning she came right over for pets and kept pawing his hand every time he stopped — as if to say, “Please keep going.” 🥹

Tyvola enjoys walks and spending time with her people, though she can still be uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs, especially while in protective mode. As she settles into life after motherhood, her personality continues to open up more each day.

She’s a resilient, loving girl who has done an amazing job raising her puppies, and now she deserves a home where she can finally be the one getting all the attention, comfort, and love. 🐶✨

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, or scheduled to be if they arrived in our care too young. Each dog has been seen by our veterinarian and treated for likely the following (all various): Age appropriate vaccines, overall health exam and other alignments as they come up. All dogs are dewormed, given core vaccines (Bordetella, DHPP (3 of them if a puppy) and Rabies as well as all are microchipped and on a monthly preventative for flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

All of our animals are placed into foster homes so they thrive and the transition is easier.
