He is the kind of dog who happily trots to the car the second he sees a door open, settles in for the ride like he has been invited on the greatest adventure ever, and then spends the evening proudly patrolling the backyard for squirrels like it is his full-time job.

As a Lab mix for adoption, Kanga brings a joyful, easygoing energy wherever he goes. He loves other dogs, walks beautifully on leash, and somehow manages to be both playful and wonderfully relaxed at the same time. You will especially love watching him run. Because of an old injury as a puppy, Kanga has a signature hop where his back legs bounce together like a bunny or kangaroo when he picks up speed - which is exactly how he got his name. The funny part is that his "superpower hop" does not slow him down at all. He tears across the yard, keeps up easily with the other dogs, and somehow looks delighted with life every second he is doing it.
