Maverick is an 8 month old Labrador Retriever mix, weighing 71 pounds (on 5.27). He is housetrained and reported to do well with kids 9+. He is very friendly, happy, and outgoing. He is very strong and needs leash work. He knows “sit” and would benefit from further training. He is heartworm negative, microchipped, has had his first set of puppy shots, and been neutered. Maverick would do best to go to a home with a fenced in yard or to a large SAFE property where he can get the exercise he needs. He is a runner and will not be suitable for an apartment or smaller unfenced property.
