Jameson - Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog Available for Adoption in Saugus, Massachusetts

Jameson is a beautiful old soul with the gentlest heart.

He's submissive, sweet and gets along wonderfully with every dog he meets. While many dogs shut down in the stressful shelter environment, Jameson was simply overwhelmed. Beneath that uncertainty was a loving, sensitive boy just waiting for someone to give him a chance.

Jameson was placed on the euthanasia list simply because he was shy and timid in the shelter environment. But the people who spent time with him saw something completely different. One shelter note summed him up perfectly:

“I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jameson.”

And it's easy to see why!

We don't know exactly what his past looked like, but Jameson acts like a dog who learned that making people happy was the best way to feel safe. He watches his humans closely, seeks reassurance, and melts when he realizes he's loved. Despite whatever challenges he's faced, he has held onto his kind spirit and endless capacity for affection.

Jameson is the kind of dog rescue is all about—a soulful companion who will reward your patience and love with unwavering devotion. He's ready to leave his past behind and start the life he deserves.
