Labrador Retriever Dogs Available for Adoption in San Diego, California

ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

// // Say hello to Yuki! Yuki is a sweet 4 month old little guy with a playful spirit. He loves to snuggle, but also loves to play with all his foster siblings. He walks great on a leash and gets along with everyone at the dog park. He hasn’t exhibited much separation anxiety. His foster usually keeps him in a kennel when they leave and he does fine.

He's great around men and women and was also really good around children of all ages. He hasn't been tested around cats but would probably do fine. He is also doing pretty well with training, it's still a work in progress but he definitely seems to understand what is expected of him. He has “sit” down perfectly and they are working on “high five”. His perfect home would include lots of play time with either kids or other pets, as well as a loving, patient family to continue his training.

Yuki is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines including rabies. His adoption fee is $350, and a $100 refundable training deposit will be required. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date.

All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption.

Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs,
