What we know: Litter of 5 (4F, 1M) transferred from Animal Rescue Friends of Floydada in Texas at approximately 4 months old. Litter came in as an owner surrender, no further information is known.

From the foster: Hello there! My name is "Stormy" and sure, at first glance, I might look like your standard-issue brown dog. I don't have the flashy fluff or the multi-colors of some of the others, but please don't be fooled-my personality is pure, unadulterated gold. (Literally, I was the only golden girl in my entire litter!) have a DEEP love of toys - so much so I'll toss it to myself if I need to - and my sweet tiny puppy slurps on your nose are anything but ordinary. I am a smooth blend of respectful with any adult dogs I meet, yet playful and silly once I am comfortable. My litter is guessed to be shepherd and lab/pit by the shelter I we were left at, but we don't truly know anything for sure about my past. What I DO know is that I am looking for a gentle and patient family who loves snuggles, giving belly rubs, and wants to guide me through the scary big world out there with consistent socialization, belly rubs, and LOTS of treats.

I am currently fostered with two of my littermates, three large dogs, and two young kiddos. I love the big dogs, they are my idols and I can't wait to grow up big and cool like them, my foster mom says that I'll no doubt be someone's ride or die, but I have to admit the young kids do make me nervous. I MAY have peed myself when one tried to hug me... and since then have made a wee (hehe) bit of progress, but overall prefer they do not approach me, rather I get to decide when I approach them.

I sleep in a crate with my sibbies from about 10pm to 6am, and my fosters are very impressed with how I hold my number two's and only go outside for that. If I can't make it outside I use the potty pads/newspaper in the puppy pen we have attached to our crate. I am really trying to be my best self in all the ways. Admittedly, I may do the occasional chomp on your fingers, but overall, foster mom says I'm good at taking reminders to chew toys, not phalanges. I enjoy romping outside for a good portion of the day and am usually the last of my littermates to get tired and settle for a nap. Speaking of naps, I hope you leave a little space for me on your couch? As much as I love to play and run, I do like to cuddle up next to you at the end of the day. If you have the time and dedication to help me reach all of my good dog goals, I sure do hope to meet you. Good luck resisting these sparkly brown puppy dog eyes!
