At just 4 months old, this Lab mix is bursting with personality, curiosity, and puppy charm. Dorothy is always ready for her next big adventure—whether that’s exploring the backyard, splashing in water, or making new friends (and yes, that includes dogs, pigs, and even chickens... though she thinks chasing the chickens is the best game ever 😂).

When the day winds down, Dorothy is happy to trade in her zoomies for snuggles. She loves her crate and is already sleeping through most nights like a pro!

Her foster shares: “Dorothy is very smart... maybe a little too smart sometimes! She has lots of energy during the day, but settles down in the evening. We’re working on commands like sit, down, come, and even ‘no ma’am.’ She can get a little mouthy when she gets excited, but she is learning quickly.”

Like any puppy, Dorothy is still learning the ropes. She’ll need a family ready to guide her as she works on leash manners, slowing down at mealtime, and keeping that excited puppy mouthing in check. The good news? She’s incredibly smart, eager to please, and ready to learn—she just needs someone to show her the way.
