Vinny - Labrador Retriever and Mixed Breed Dog Available for Adoption in Ellijay, Georgia

WHY IS VINNY STILL HERE?! Vinny is one of those dogs that inspires love at first sight! To be honest, we can't understand why he's still at the shelter after 8 months.

This handsome guy is estimated to be 1.5 years old, and is fully grown at 48 pounds. We love him!

Vinny:
🐾is a play group rock star - he gets along with pretty much every dog he meets and he loves to romp
🐾will thrive in a home with another dog to play with
🐾is good on a leash
🐾seems to be neutral with cats
🐾isn't a fan of kids and will do best in a home without children
🐾is an energetic young boy who will thrive in a home where he gets plenty of action
🐾knows how to relax and cuddle with his people
🐾has a habit of removing and chewing on his buddies' collars - this might be his only flaw, but it can be addressed
🐾can be a little reserved, but once comfortable loves his people
🐾is vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and ready for some lucky person to take him home!

He recently spent a weekend with a volunteer, who says "I have had fun fostering Vinny this weekend. He was reluctant to come inside at first, but now seems to be right at home. He has had very good house manners and played well with my dog. They argue like siblings and pester each other any chance they get. He has made it his mission to collect all the toys and stash them in his crate. The boy is obsessed with leads and collars! He will chew any that he can find. Vinny would do well in a household with an active owner or with another dog. He is eager to please. At the end of the day, he loves to get up on the couch and cuddle".
