Austin was 2 months old when he came into rescue. He’s literally grown up in rescue without having a family to call his own. He’s watched his siblings all get adopted long ago, and wondered why not him? He’s now 8 months old, and desperately looking for his forever home. He is eager to please, very biddable, and generally goes with the flow. While Austin is still a puppy, he has a very calm energy to him. Looking into his eyes he seems to have an old soul, and is wise beyond his years. He gets along great with other dogs, cats are unknown. He would do well in a home with kids. In working with a trainer for just one hour, Austin picked skills up quickly. He’s now familiar with the commands of sit, down, and come. He has begun the foundations of leash manners. He has a loyal and stoic presence to him, and will be a best friend to anyone willing to just give him a chance.

Please note that we often receive multiple applications for the same pet. Applications are processed in the order they are received. If the pet you’re interested in has already been adopted, we would be happy to suggest another from the same litter (if applicable) or a similar pet in our care. With over 120 animals currently seeking loving homes—and new arrivals daily—we are confident we can help you find the perfect match!
Since our goal is to find loving homes as quickly as possible, we are unable to hold animals. Adoptions are completed on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are only two ways to secure a pet: 1. Signing an adoption contract 2. Placing a non-refundable hold deposit
Please understand that your specific pet could be adopted prior to your being able to meet them.
