This beautiful face is one of 11 lucky new arrivals that are making their way to Oregon from Mexico to land in temporary foster homes in the greater Portland area. They're coming into our program thanks to our partnership with a rescue that operates near Lake Chapala outside of Guadalajara. Matcha leaves are consumed in Japanese tea for their calming, focused energy, and our sweet Matcha embodies this spirit! Calm and focused describe her perfectly. Matcha is an absolute dream on leash, preferring to stay very close to her human starting out on a walk, but once you get going, she's confident yet very obedient. And gorgeous? Oh, how! Hers is one of the sweetest, prettiest faces ever, with her beautiful black eyeliner accenting soulful brown eyes set in a blonde and white face. Her lithe white body sprinkled with tan freckles and the softest. Coat. EVER. wrap up the perfect Matcha package. Very tranquil and serene, she loooves getting affection from humans. She is food motivated and picked up "sit" and "down" very quickly. She is good with other dogs and cats. Matcha is just a very gentle, sensitive, good doggo looking to infuse her calming energy into a forever home!
