Hope is a 9 to 10 month old Labrador Retriever mix with a story of resilience and a heart full of love. She and her littermates were abandoned on the side of a road in Texas as young puppies. Months later, rescue was called back to the same location and found only two survivors. Hope was one of them.
Despite everything she has been through, Hope is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and full of love. She is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and truly wants to be part of a family.
Hope currently weighs about 45 to 50 pounds and is expected to be around 50 to 60 pounds full grown. She may have some Shepherd or other breeds mixed in, but what stands out most is her gentle and loving personality.
She absolutely loves other dogs and thrives with a canine companion. A home with another friendly dog would help her feel confident and happy.
Hope’s highlights:
* House trained
* Crate trained
* Walks nicely on leash
* Dog friendly and would love a dog sibling
* Cat friendly
* Best with dog savvy children
Hope has experienced a lot of change in her young life, including transport from Texas to Pennsylvania. She may need a short adjustment period in a new home, but she warms up quickly and is eager to love and be loved.
She is looking for a stable, committed home that will give her the kindness and security she deserves.
