Ultra is a 3-year-old Jindo Mix weighing 40 lbs. This iconic mama dog made headlines for her selflessness and quick thinking to give her babies a chance at survival, and now it's her turn to find her forever home. Ultra is crate trained, lovely on walks, playful indoors, and overall the most mellow girl, unless there's a puppy around to play with! She's a slim 40 lbs of mostly legs and smiles, and she can't wait to find her forever home in NYC!



You don't have to wait for an adoption event. In-person meet-and-greets are available in the NYC area, with virtual meet-and-greets available for adopters outside NYC.

This medium sized, spitz type dog has a distinctive double coat that sheds seasonally. Known for their independent nature, Jindos require early socialization and firm, consistent training. With a strong prey drive and territorial instincts, they excel as hunters and watchdogs. Their deep bonds with their owners make them loving companions, albeit not suitable for inexperienced owners.
