He has a sweet and loving personality. He has the typical energy level of a young Italian greyhound - very spunky and quick. He loves to play with toys! He gives little growls while playing with them, but has no problem with sharing them. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs. There are other small dogs in his foster home and he has done very well with them, but his energy level is a lot for older dogs and he would do best in a home with younger dogs who can play with him. Colton does have a higher energy level, so canine companions need to be ok with that energy level. He is pee pad trained and his foster mom is working on doing his business outside.
Colton adores meeting people and he is a big-time cuddler!!! Colton loves his walks! Colton came to us from South Korea where he was found on the streets with a broken front leg and a severely injured achilles tendon. He had surgery on his front leg and it has healed beautifully. The hind leg has healed fairly well, but he does not put any weight on it. We will be seeing a Rehab Specialist to determine how we can best help and encourage him to use the hind leg. Colton will need a home without cats.
