DESCRIPTION
Meet Oreo!!
Oreo is an 8 year old fluffy husky mix who is more than ready to find his forever family!
Oreo was surrendered to the desert shelter alongside his brother in 2024. His brother, the only familiar constant through so much chance, was rescued several months before and Oreo was left behind. He spent almost two years at the outdoor shelter before being seen and saved by Bubbles Dog Rescue!
Despite everything he’s lived through, Oreo is the most loving, well‑balanced dog you’ll ever meet.
He’s goofy, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure. Walks, car rides, cuddle sessions- if it means being with you, he’s all in. He LOVESSSS people deeply and would thrive with a family who wants a fun, loyal, loving companion by their side.
He’s potty trained, and incredibly treat‑motivated! And when he’s happy? He does the cutest little spin- his signature move that melts everyone who sees it.
Because he didn’t get much exercise during his two years at the shelter, Oreo is currently on a little weight‑loss journey, and we’d love for his future family to continue helping him get to a healthy, happy weight. He weighs around 70 lbs but ideally would be closer to 55-60. He’s motivated, he’s trying, and honestly… he makes the whole process SO ADORABLE!!!
Because of everything he’s been through, we believe Oreo would thrive best as the only dog in a home where he can finally be the spoiled one. But we could he totally wrong- he may do great with other respectful dogs. Either way, we hope to know soon. Oreo just wants harmony, comfort, and a little room to breathe!
He’s waited long enough! He’s ready to be seen, chosen, and loved the way he’s always deserved.
Oreo is being fostered in Tarzana, CA
