Meet Loulou! This sweet, gentle girl is ready to leave her past behind and find a loving forever home where she can truly shine.

Loulou’s story began in the most uncertain of places. She was rescued alongside her mom and four siblings shortly after they were born, huddled under a tree in the scorching Egyptian summer while locals threatened their lives. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in just in time, bringing all six dogs to safety. Since then, Loulou has grown up in the shelter, waiting patiently for her chance at a brighter future—and now, she has the opportunity to come to the U.S. and finally find the home she’s always deserved.

Loulou is a 1.5 year-old Baladi mix pup weighing about 35 pounds. She has a lovely medium energy level, playful and fun, yet able to relax and enjoy quiet moments with her people. She gets along well with other dogs, is great with people and kids, and would make a wonderful addition to a variety of households.

Loulou has a warm, affectionate nature and doesn’t need to be the only dog—she’d likely enjoy having a canine companion, but will be just as devoted to her humans.

She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, making her fully ready to begin her next chapter.

After everything she’s been through, Loulou deserves a home filled with love, comfort, and security.
